Reflect & Respond—The Quest for Joy: Ecclesiastes 8:1–7

·   For Conversation: Ask someone if they still have questions about the Scripture passage!

·   For Reflection: What situations tempt you to quit or leave in a hurry? How does this passage help you to entrust yourself, ultimately, to God?

·   Together: What would it look like if we, as a church, became increasingly honest about the evils under the sun and yet, simultaneously, increasingly joyful in God’s sovereignty?

Annual Members’ Meeting  Today @ 5:30-7:00pm. Join us for supper at 5:oopm. We will hear testimonies and updates from members and leaders. The elders will recommend a new budget.

Exploring Membership   Saturday, May 10 @ 9:00am-3:00pm. If you are new, consider this class your next step to consider what it means to belong to a local church. Lunch will be served. RSVP to the office.

Northfield Prays   A National Day of Prayer opportunity with other Northfield churches. Come to Bridge Square anytime between 7:00am -7:00pm on Thursday, May 1st.

Resource Table   Find tools to help us grow up in Jesus:

·   Books—Take one to read and discuss with another member.

·   Christian Living Classes on Sundays @ 11:00am for all ages—find the room location for adults, students, children and nursery. “Jesus the True and Better” is the current session adults.

·   Growth Communities meet during the week to connect men and women in meaningful relationships around God’s word.
